Two-Part Plank Chair

These are simple, yet novel outdoor chairs that are made from two planks; one drawn through the other. They can be left assembled indefinitely or disassembled for storage or transport. They make great campfire and outdoor chairs.
Each chair is made from a 2"x10" yellow pine board; and each plank is 4' in length.
Below, the chair on the left was finished with linseed oil and the chair on the right by a technique of burning off the the soft wood, called shou sugi ban.
